Pandawa Beach in South Bali
Location: Bali’s southern Bukit Peninsula (About 1.30 hrs from the airport)
Entrance Fee: IDR 10,000/person💱
Highlight: Beautiful beach and delicious gelato 🙂
Pandawa Beach or ‘Pantai Pandawa’ in local language is a beautiful and peaceful beach. It is located behind large carved limestone cliffs. You will see the panorama view of the Indian Ocean. Pandawa Beach was known as ‘Secret Beach’ and it was officially opened in 2012. So the beach is still well-preserved and living expend is not high compared with other beaches.
The view from the cliff is great and really hot too 🙂 As you can see that most of the area on the beachfront still vacant. I think that when I go back next time, there is going to have a lot of change here.
On the beach, it’s like heaven. The soft and white sand make you want to stay there as long as you can. In the weekend, many people and tourists visit the beach. On the day we were there, there were crowded with students from many schools for their field trip. I saw their smile of happiness and joy on their faces, while running around to play with the wave.
You can enjoy many activities here like surfing, swimming, kayak and so on. There are small food stalls for you as well. The toilet here is not clean and you have to pay for IDR 2,000 for the fee.
After enjoying the beautiful beach, there is a gelato shop at the entrance that will make you feel so refreshing.
Now, we’re so hungry. Let’s go for dinner 🙂
